Kate Hudson may be hands-on when it comes to parenting, but her accessories allow her to be hands-free when on the go.

The Running Point actress recently posted a series of Instagram selfies during her “Quick trip across the pond 🇬🇧🫖♥️” featuring her daughter, mouth-watering food, and a simple tech accessory that was so baller we immediately ran to get one for ourselves. In two of the snaps (and in a separate TikTok) we noticed a snazzy strap dangling off her phone that could really only be used for one thing: to go hands-free.

Celebrities like Martha Stewart and Blake Lively have been opting out of traditional phone cases in favor of those with convenient straps for a while now, too. Hudson’s design was unique, though, in that it was more for wrist-wear than across the body like a bigger handbag.

Does anyone else ever worry that they’ll drop their phone when taking a picture? Thankfully, these lanyards, which look like beautified bungee cords, are adjustable, so you can ensure a snug and tight fit around the wrist. (Bonus: your phone is less susceptible to theft when traveling!)

The brand also notes that the lanyards can be used on more than just phones, so you’ll get more bang for your buck. They’re also just $4 apiece now thanks to a coupon that automatically applies at checkout.

Bandolier

Martha Stewart recently traded in one of her longer-strap Bandoliers for this glamorous wristlet case. She did carry it by hand but could have easily swung it over her wrist for a hands-free option. Plus, she was able to go purse-free in the process. It is the priciest option on our list, but remember, it’s a phone case with a strap, not just the latter.

This designer lanyard, on the other hand, doesn’t require an entirely new case. It comes with an attachment that uses your case’s charging port opening to secure it behind the phone (without actually blocking the phone’s port). TL;DR, it easily attaches without disrupting the phone’s functionality, plus the chain’s pearls are so nautical and fun for spring and summer.

“I decided to give this strap a try because I am a chronic phone dropper and it was super cute,” wrote one five-star reviewer, who picked up one of the other five versions. “It has already saved my phone several times but I didn't expect it to be so useful. [It’s] so easy to just put my phone on my wrist when my hands are full.”

Wristlets, phone charms, or whatever you call them — they’re lifesavers. Keep scrolling to shop more hands-free phone attachments inspired by Kate Hudson, including an option with a longer strap, too. (You never know when you might need it.)
